  • Discussion Team
Discussion Team (including members of the Steering Committee) develops drafts of SpecC specifications through e-mail discussions among the team. Each member of the Discussion Team has one voting right for decisions of the WG (final proposal approvals are made at STOC general meetings). Discussions within the team are done along the following procedure, and discussion logs are available on the Discussion Team web site. How to discuss within Discussion Team
    1. Steering Committee selects discussion issues based on opinions of general members, and asks Discussion Team to start discussions about selected issues.
    2. Members of Discussion Team discuss the specifications of SpecC language about the selected issues through e-mail.
    3. Steering Committee summarizes the discussions periodically, and results are distributed to Discussion Team members for their approval (they are approved by more than or equal to 2/3rd of the valid votes). Within approval processes, a member of Discussion Team loses the team membership if he/she does not vote for several times continuously.
    4. Approved items in the summary are distributed to general members. Also Steering Committee decides to continue or terminate the discussion on rejected items.
