SpecC Language Specification Working
Group (LSWG)

Goal:
| The primary mission of the Language WG is the standardization and
development of the SpecC language. The short-term goals of the LS-WG
include the clearification and enhancement of the current SpecC language
in syntax and semantics, whereas the long-term goals include the investigation
and extension of hardware and software features, graphical representation
methods and verification algorithms, the standardization of the SpecC
modeling styles, and others. The LS-WG will cooperate in its activities
with the Case-Study WG. |
Organization:
The activities of the WG are supported by the members distributed
over the world who will discuss issues, give suggestions and make
proposals by use of e-mail.
The Discussion Group leads the discussion among the members. The role
of the Steering Committee of the Discussion Group is to manage all
activities of the WG, maintain the developed standards, and take care
of administrative work. The Discussion Group develops definitions
for different aspects of the SpecC language and specification drafts
and improves these through discussions with the WG members. Each member
of the Discussion Group has voting rights for the decisions of the
WG. Proposals will be finally approved at STOC general meetings. |
